CNC Programmer

Job Overview
The CNC Programmer is responsible for writing all new and revised parts and providing assistance to the Engineering team. This includes CNC programming, detailing of product assemblies, and part drawings. Must work with the shop CNC operators to facilitate any changes or updates as needed.

Key Areas of Responsibility
• Create or alter part drawings and CNC programming for all Engineers.
• Work with shop floor to alleviate issues and resolve programming problems.
• Investigate Engineering Change Orders (ECO) from shop; working with manager, resolve appropriate issues and update system thoroughly and completely.
• Follow established standards and methods of programming.

Qualifications & Experience
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working in same industry
• CNC programming knowledge and experience utilizing AutoCAD, Woodwop, and RouterCIM.
• Clear understanding of millwork drawing methods be able to understand and interpret the Engineer’s Inventor drawings
• Substantial knowledge of Architectural materials and manufacturing methods.
• Ability to produce individual part drawings that are ready for production
• Must be able to manage time effectively.
• 2-year Associates degree, drafting certificate, or related work experience preferred
